I had the pleasure of working with Rendercon on significant repair works at Central Park Business Hub in Ellerslie, and their performance exceeded every expectation.
We had been dealing with multiple persistent leak issues for some time, and several other contractors had tried—unsuccessfully—to resolve them. Volt Apartments
We had a water leak from a pedestrian ramp into the car park below, the building surveyors report called for an architect and structural engineer to come up with a suitable design solution that would then need to be consented. The work would then be destructive, noisy, take weeks to complete and disrupt residents using the main entrance into the building.
We looked for an alternative solution and came across a product called Degadur, essentially a trafficable membrane that would be robust enough for the foot traffic, shopping trolley, bikes and scooters that would test the surface. Further to that the work would be done in a couple of days with minimal disruption to residents.
Rendercon did an excellent job, the work was on time, on budget and most importantly resolved the water ingress issue without the consult costs, disruption and need for a consent.
18 months on, other than the skid marks, the surface is as good as the day it was laid. It’s performed well. For anyone looking for a waterproofing solution I would recommend talking to Rendercon.
